When Layton reached out to me about photographing her wedding, I told her that we absolutely had to do an engagement session the day before, as well. While the wedding venue was stunning…nothing beats the backdrop of the Tetons when you’re in the park.

We scheduled it so that it was easy and no-stress, the day before the wedding. And man, was it worth it - especially since the Teton’s were rendered barely visible the next day, due to Idaho forest fires.

We started north of the park, where you could see the stark profile of the Teton range, and took some romantic photos in the tall, grassy plains. Then, we hopped on a private boat rental to jet around one of the lakes in the park. It felt like we were living in Vogue Italia; the lighting, breeze, and colors were all beyond what we could have imagined.
